Travel & hotels

You can easily reach the Hilton Dresden from Dresden Central Station / Bus Station by public transport. Take a tram towards “Altstadt” (e.g. lines 1, 2 or 4) to the “Altmarkt” or “Theaterplatz” stop. From there, it is just a short walk towards the Frauenkirche or Neumarkt, where the hotel is located.

From the north 
Coming from Berlin via the A13, take the A4 towards Dresden/Erfurt at the Dresden-Nord motorway junction and exit at Dresden-Hellerau. Then follow the B170 towards the city centre until you reach Neumarkt. Access to the hotel is via Brühlsche Gasse.

From the east
Coming from Görlitz on the A4, take the Dresden-Hellerau exit and then follow the B170 towards the city centre. Keep heading towards “Zentrum/Altstadt” and use Neumarkt as your landmark. The entrance to the Hilton Dresden is via Brühlsche Gasse.

From the south
Take the A17 from Prague and exit at Dresden-Südvorstadt, then follow the B170 towards “Zentrum”. Continue straight on into the old town, using Neumarkt or the Frauenkirche as landmarks. The hotel entrance is on Brühlsche Gasse.

From the west
From the A4 coming from Chemnitz, take the Dresden-Altstadt exit and then follow the B6 towards the city centre. Follow the signs for “Altstadt” to Neumarkt. From there, take Brühlsche Gasse directly to the hotel.

Travelling from Poland
If you are travelling from Poland (e.g. via Wrocław), you will usually take the A4 motorway towards Germany. After crossing the border, continue on the A4 until the Dresden-Hellerau exit, then follow the B170 towards “Zentrum/Altstadt”. Keep heading towards Neumarkt or the Frauenkirche; the entrance to the Hilton Dresden is via Brühlsche Gasse.

If you’re travelling by plane, there are several airports in the area. The nearest is Dresden Airport, from where you can take the S-Bahn (line S2) to the main station and then continue by tram to the Old Town and the Hilton Dresden. Alternatively, you can reach the hotel by taxi or hire car in around 20–25 minutes. 

Other well-connected airports include Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Leipzig/Halle Airport (near Schkeuditz). There are regular train services to Dresden from both airports, allowing you to continue your journey in comfort.
